Q: What's inside the "Client Login Area"?
A: Once your account is established with DLD, you will be given a secure password, with which you can access your "Lightbox". This area of the DLD Website is where we post links to your current project proofs, link to the Admin Tools associated with your website, listing of your archived projects and more!
Q: How long does it usually take to build a new website from scratch?
A: We compare building a website to building a house, the bigger it is, the more doors and windows let's say, the longer it takes. Typically I tell Clients 2-4 weeks from start-to-finish, we have done sites in as little as 3 or 4 days, some have take 90-120 days depending. Our Estimates always contain a guaranteed deliever date.
Q: I like your work and want to use DLD for my Advertising Design, where do we go from here?
A: First, we want to Thank You for the opportunity to earn your business. Next, please email us with your contact information and a time that is convenient for us to get together in person or on the phone. We will then determine the best ways that DLD can help you and your Business realize your Marketing Goals and together come up with a concise plan to make it happen. Our Proposal is then defined in a comprehensive "Scope of Work" that we will prepare and submit to you for approval before any costs are incurred. We then typically ask for a 50% deposit on the project and begin production once received.
Q: What is the difference between "Opt-in Email Marketing" and "SPAM"?
A: It's very simple, Opt-in email is legal, SPAM is not... and is regulated according to the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. DLD follows these best practices in our eBlaster Program, and ensures that neither you, your Company, nor us are labeled with the dreaded badge "SPAMMER". The basic rules adhered to include: Providing full disclosure in the email headings and body and allowing the recipient the ability to "Opt-out/Unsubscribe" from the mailing list are the main differences.
